Details:  This excursion provides the opportunity for students to attend an Open Rehearsal presented by West Australian Symphony Orchestra. The Open Rehearsal program provides a 'behind-the-scenes' opportunity for students to sit in the auditorium as WASO undertake their final rehearsal prior to an evening performance. Commencing with a pre-rehearsal talk, students are presented with an overview of the works being rehearsed, with a guest musician sharing their unique perspective in preparation and performance. Inside the rehearsal, students will see the conductor work with the full orchestra and where possible, a visiting soloist, to put the finishing touches on the program being presented.

Location: Winthrop Hall, 35 Stirling Hwy, Crawley WA 6009
