Event
Details: This year, Guildford Grammar School celebrates 130 years, a milestone that belongs not only to our history, but to every person who has helped shape the life of this School.
Across generations, Guildford Grammar has been built by students, families, staff, Old Guildfordians and friends who have brought their energy, service, friendship and sense of belonging to this community.
While much has changed since 1896, the heart of the School remains the same: people coming together, forming connections, and being part of something larger than themselves.
On Friday 14 August, our community is invited to join us for the 130 Year Celebration, a special evening on Chapel Lawn bringing together our parents, staff, Old Guildfordian and friends of the School for a night of food, music, conversation and celebration.
This will not be a formal dinner or a night of lengthy speeches. It will be a fun and celebratory cocktail-style evening, with the Chapel as the spectacular backdrop, substantial canapés by our Guildford Grammar Catering Team, live music from our specially-formed Old Guildfordian band, a DJ, and plenty of time to reconnect with other parents, staff, Old Guildfordians and the broader community.
Tickets are $96 per person plus booking fee, a small nod to our founding year of 1896. Tickets include a welcome drink on arrival and substantial canapés throughout the evening.
The 130 Year Celebration is presented in partnership with our P&F Society, whose generous support has helped make this community event possible. We are also grateful to the Old Guildfordians’ Association for proudly supporting the evening’s entertainment, and to Uncommon Ground Group, a Guildford Grammar family business, for generously supporting the bar service.
