Details: The Year 4 Outdoor Learning Program (OLP) will take place from 31 March - 2 April at Boshack Outback.

Three days and two nights at Boshack Outback on the edge of Wattening Spring, Bolgart allow for deep nature connections to be fostered. Walking through the ancient melaleucas where for thousands of years fresh water has bubbled to the surface provides a cool and relaxing place to sketch and wonder. From paddling canoes on the lake, constructing shelters, being wild with nature games, star gazing and ancient sky stories and constructing artwork for display is all part of the fun. This program marks a significant milestone and provides a large growth opportunity for Year 4 students.

Students will be guided to continue building and forging new connections with peers, staff and the environment. Student learning experiences will be scaffolded to facilitate the development of key social and emotional learning competencies which will serve them now and into the foreseeable future.
