Details: The Year 7 Outdoor Learning Program is conducted in the last week of Term 2. Students are grouped in their Mentor groups, providing opportunities to form strong pastoral bonds and foster mutual support. Adolescent growth is heavily influenced by peer relationships and by providing opportunities to foster and strengthen friendships, developing trust, acceptance and respect is a central element of this program. Conducted in 2026 at Mornington Adventure Camp in Wokalup, this program uses a multi skills approach to support development. Common outdoor recreation activities, facilitated by GGS guides and Mornington staff support and lead pastoral groups, to collectively and individually develop awareness, resilience and confidence.
