As part of our School Provided Technology Program, students will receive new iPads when they begin Year 7. In the meantime, students will take home their current (older model) iPads each day in Semester 2, allowing them to develop the independence, organisation, and digital fluency that will set them up for success next year. This initiative also encourages continuity of learning between home and school, enabling students to engage with tasks and ideas beyond the classroom.
We understand this is a new initiative, and that some families may have questions or concerns. To support you, our Tech Centre Team will be hosting parent information sessions on Wednesday 18 June (8:30-9.00am) and Monday 23 June (2:30-3.00pm) in the Prep Library. These sessions will include an exploration of practical ways families can establish healthy boundaries and develop positive digital habits together.
