Event
A select group of Year 6 String students will perform at the United Nations Association of Australia (WA Division) (“UNAAWA”) annual UN Day to commemorate the important milestone 80th anniversary founding of the United Nations.
The event will be held at the Duxton Hotel on Friday, 17 October 2025, from 6pm.
The performances from Guildford Grammar School's students over the past 2 years have garnered much praise and admiration, and have very much cast the school in a very good light.
In attendance will be ministers, parliamentarians, ambassadors and consuls from many countries, mayors, senior government department representatives and other dignitaries. In addition to speeches by keynote speakers, we will also have short music or dance performances to showcase different cultures the UN represents worldwide.
The performance is part of the scheduled performances during the event. This would be of 5 minutes maximum on the stage before the dignitaries, between 6:30-6:45pm. Parents will be required to transport their child to and from the event, and remain with them at the venue for the duration of the event.
