Students commencing at Guildford Grammar School in 2026 will have an opportunity to meet their teachers and explore the environment prior to the first day of school.  On Tuesday 27 January, please proceed to the registration table in the Nature Playground on arrival.  Students may wear comfortable, casual clothing with closed in shoes rather than the school uniform.

Refreshments will be available for parents and students and there will be an opportunity for you to meet key staff and ask any questions that may have come up over the summer break. Once most families have arrived, students will be guided to their classrooms by the 2026 School Captains (Year 6 students) and staff.

Students will have the opportunity to spend time with their new teacher in their own classroom and familiarise themselves with the school environment, enabling a confident start to the new school year on Wednesday 28 January 2026. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay with their child during this time. If you have multiple children commencing, you are welcome to drop off and pick up from the classroom and go between each of the classes. Towards the end of our time together, families may explore our campus using our “Treasure Map” which will highlight key locations before heading home.
